Nyc

Well, I was sad last week because I was not able to get the wish I that I had been praying for over 6 months now... I was kinda depressed coz I ate a lot of ice cream that day.. haha.. But my faith in God and with the help of my friends, I was able to accept and learn that God's plan in my life is more promising than whatever goals I have. I learned to accept but I also learned not to give up on my dream :)

Yesterday, God never fail to give our family surprises.. Even though I didn't get my dream, my sister got hers. God has listened to all of our prayers, and now, we have a nurse in the family.

I would like again to thank all of my friends who prayed with me during her exam. And of course, the biggest thank you I will give is to our All Sufficient God who always gives out what's best for us.

To my sister, Congratulations. All of your hardwork has its fruits now.. yan, pwede ka na mag apply as nurse talaga! I will still continue to pray for you, remember, we have an apartment to build pa. hahaha... May you always ask God's guidance in everything you do, and no matter how successful you've become, relationship with the Lord is what matters, and also your family and friends...

I had my very first Japanese interview today. It was a very good experience, especially talking in Japanese and speaking with a Japanese... It was very tiring though.. it really felt like all my energy was used up.. hehehe

There's no result yet, I hope I pass.. but whatever it is, like my Dad told me, I still am in a winning situation, because I have grown more this time.. =) And I would know where to improve next time...

Sa reception area:
Guard: (bigay ng isang gamit nang globe bill envelope na may local number ko) Eto, sau daw.

Ako: ano po to? kanino galing to?
Guard: ewan ko, sabi bigay daw sau.
Ako: (confused) okay.. sige salamat po...

Sa loob ng envelope, may dalawang red card. (Para kong na-F4 sa Meteor garden..)
Unang Red Card:
"Nabalitaan naming isa ka sa naloko noong Abril 2. Saan nagmula ang tawag na ito?"

Thoughts: Ano kaya to? Sino kaya to? Gagawin ko ba to? Hmn.. April 2, sila paolo, Sherry at Therese ang nanloko sakin... Sila kaya? hmn... sa huddle room un eh, A or B? Papasok ako dun? eh pano kung may nag memeeting... teka nga...

Nagpunta ko sa upuan ni therese..
Ako: Tab, san room ba un tumwag kau nila Pao sakin nun April. Un gamit nyo ung phone ni Almirante.
Tab: nun April Fools? Sa huddle A?
Ako: A, oo.. (then natanaw ko ung red card sa may pinto)

Third Red Card:
"Noong Enero, hinusgahan ka ng isang nakatataas na opisyal sa silid na ito"

Thoughts: Ahh, sa manager's area.. nakakatawa naman tong ginagawa ko...
Punta towards Claire's room on 12th habang naglilinga linga...(hinahanap un mga may pakana)
Thouhgts: wala naman nakatingin sakin... =( I think, I need to finish this game to find out who...
At nakita ko ang red card sa ibabaw ng pedestal sa room na yon..

Fourth Red Card:
"Naging artista ka rin daw noong pasko. Saang pisara nakalagay ang pangalan mo?"
Pumunta ko sa white board.. Walang nakitang red card.. Tiningnan pati ilalim.. wala..
Thoughts: haay.. na stuck na ata ako! Pinagtatawanan na siguro ko ng may pakana nito, kung di ko lang gusto malaman kung sino sya di ko to gagawin..
Tumingin ulit sa likod ng whiteboard at masinsinang hinanap ang red card.. Ayun! nasa gilid pala eh.

Fifth Red card:
"Kararating mo lang sa opisina, tumayo ka ulit para kumuha ng galon-galon na pamatid uhaw sa bagay na ito."
Thoughts: Wow, pantry naman.. ayaw naman akong pagurin...
Punta sa pantry and got the red card sa gilid ng ref..

Sixth Red card:
"Ngayong nainom mo na ang isang galong-galong tubig na kinuha mo. Saan lugar ka pupunta upang bawasan ang laman ng pantog mo.
(Pahiwatig: Nasa likod ng pintong papasukan mo ang susunod na clue)"
Thoughts: Aba! pati sa CR! mga loko to ah!
Nag badge out ako papunta sa CR, nakasalubong ko pa si Manong Guard while on my way.

Guard: Nys, ano bang gingawa mo?
Ako: (Thoughts: ano ba yan, napansin na ko ng guard!) Wala po, nagtu-tour lang sa 12th Floor. hahaha..
Pumasok ako sa CR then saw na naka-lock ung 2 pinto sa left, pumasok ako sa unang cube, walang red card.
Thoughts: Hihintayin kong matapos un mga nag C-CR? Teka nga...
Binasa ko ulit un card..at na gets ko na rin un clue sa wakas.. and saw the red card on the main door.

Seventh Red Card:
"Ngayon patapos na ang laro, pagsamasamahin ang nakalap na red card at tingnan sa likod ang susunod na pahiwatig"
Thoughts: haay salamat, natapos din..
Balik na ko sa upuan ko, binaligtad ang papel. Sa likod may mga nakasulat na mga numero:


Thoughts: ano to? seat number? Aha! Aisa -> Kiomi -> Therese -> Abby -> Mabel? Feeling ko talga sina Therese to eh, kaso, bkit nasama si Mabel at Kiomi?
(Order ng workstation nila, though I know it doesnt make sense)

Di na ko makatiis, nagpunta ko sa work station ni Therese..

Ako: Kau may pakana nito noh?
Tab: (confused) ha? ano yan?
Ako: (Thoughts: naku, mali ata ako, parang hindi ata sila) Eh kasi may nagttrip sakin eh.. tingnan mo to.. tapos may number sa likod, di ko na lam, kala ko seat number nyo..
Tab: anong number? ahh.. i-add mo kaya.. 14 + 12 + 14??
Ako: ah... 48? (mali pa add ko ata ng mga time na to)
Tab: 4 + 8 = 12, 1+ 2 = 3?
Ako: 3? ano naman un? di naman local number, ang hirap naman.. AH!! baka letters... A, D, I, L, M??? ADILM? ano un.. DMAIL? haayz.. (frustrated)
Tab: baka N, 13 ung M eh..
Ako: ahh..oo nga noh.. NAILD? DILAN? ano ba to..
Tab: Baka Aldin..
Ako: Oo nga noh! Loko talagang Aldin un.
Tab: nasan ba si Aldin?
Ako: Umuwi na eh, napag tripan pa ko bago umalis.. Kaso.. teka.. ah! baka sa workstation ni Aldin!
Tab: Oo nga, sama ko!

Pumunta ko sa workstation ni Aldin, may gift. may red tag. Malaki un balot kesa sa laman.
Thoughts: Ano kaya to?
Tab: Buksan mo na..

May isang candy na nakabalot pa ulet sa gift wrapper sa loob ng gift, at may kasamang note: "Tumingin ka sa ilalim"
Naghahanap ulit ako sa ilalim ng workstation ni Aldin, wala naman akong makita...

Ako: Haay, wala naman eh. Naku.. sasakalin ko tong nagtrip na to sakin!
Tab: --- (no comment)

Napatingin ako sa ilalim ng workstation ko, and voila! may gift , TO me FROM Abby, Aisa, Cae and Taby!!!

Sabay tawa ni Tab.. At nakita ko na lang na lumalakad papalapit si Abby, Cae at Aisa sa tabi namin...

Ako: Haay nako! Kayo talaga!
Tab: Ang sarap! nakatawa na rin ako!
Asia: hahahha.. ang kulit!
Abby: Iniiwasan ko nga tumingin sau eh, kasi natatawa ko..
Cae: hahahaha..

Sorry na kung medyo mahaba ang blog ko.. Gusto ko lang i-share, coz this doesnt happen to me everyday. I woke up this morning with a decision. I will ask. No matter what the answer is, I will definitely ask. I need to spare myself, once and for all, the anxiety that fills me day by day since last week. I have to face the truth. I took all the courage I have to open my yahoo account and mail Japan Foundation. After a few minutes of staring at the draft mail, I pressed Sent. Now, all I can do is wait....

30 minutes....

1 hour...

2 hours...

I feel my heart stopped beating once in a while whenever YM notifications pops up from the bottom right part of my screen. And then, after about 3 hours of waiting.. finally, the mail has arrived. I can still remember that for that split second, my mind felt blank and I felt a little dizzy... I opened up my yahoo mail again, and stared at the email before my eyes:




I still cannot believe my eyes. From the very start, I have a strong feeling that I will pass, but 338 points?! I feel like I'm still in a dream. (For a while there, I even thought my score has been mixed up with Aldin's since our voucher number is next to each other) I really hope it's true.. I'm still waiting for the confirmation mail to arrive in Bulacan. This is one of the best birthday gifts God has ever given to me.. I'm just.. very happy..
